Composition:

Azelaic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Aqua, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate , Glycerin, Niacinamide, Sodium Citrate, Disodium EDTA, D-Panthenol, Decyl Glucoside, Tea Tree Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate.

 Description:

Salicylic Acid:

Salicylic Acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that exerts a powerful keratolytic, comedolytic, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial effect. It has a lipophilic nature that penetrates the pilosebaceous ducts, regulating sebaceous secretion.

Azelaic Acid:

Azelaic Acid is an antibacterial and antiproliferative agent with anti-inflammatory and oil-regulating properties that normalises the keratinisation process of the follicle. Enhances the inhibition of melanogenesis, acting on hyperactive melanocytes and regulating their overproduction which progressively reduces hyperpigmentations.

Lactic Acid:

Lactic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that breaks protein bonds between corneocytes, causing their detachment and reducing the hyperkeratotic stratum corneum thickness. It also stimulates the production of new collagen and exerts a natural moisturizing effect on the skin by attracting water molecules to the stratum corneum and stimulating ceramide synthesis, thus improving and modulating the barrier function.

Mechanism of Action:

Acne is a skin condition influenced by factors such as excess sebum production, follicular hyperkeratinization, bacterial colonization, inflammation, hormonal changes, and genetic predisposition. Excessive sebum production, combined with abnormal keratinization, leads to the formation of clogged pores and comedones. Bacterial colonization within these clogged follicles triggers an immune response, resulting in inflammation and the formation of acne lesions. Hormonal fluctuations, particularly androgens, play a role in sebum production and follicular function. Salicylic Acid, Azelaic Acid and Lactic Acid aims at reducing sebum production, promoting proper follicular shedding, managing inflammation and restoring hydration to the skin.

Indications and Usage:

AD Anti Acne Face Wash is the topical treatment that gently exfoliates dead skin cells, regulates sebum production, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any of the known ingredients in the product.

Adverse effects:

Adverse effects are usually mild and may include slight skin irritation, burning and redness. Rare cases there may be some allergic reactions to skin.

Dosage and Administration:

Gently massage the AD Anti Acne  Face Wash for 20 -30 seconds over damp face avoiding eyes and surroundings. Rinse and dry. Use this product as many times as indicated by the Physician and Dermatologist.

Storage:

DO NOT FREEZE.

STORE IN COOL AND DRY PLACE BELOW 25°C.
